Ksamil is a seaside settlement in the riviera of Southern Albania and part of Butrint National Park. At the 2015 local goverment reform it became a subdivision of the municipality Sarande.
In the last few years Ksamil is known for its great tourist development, taking advantage of its iddylic location with remarkable beaches and lush vegetation, the very important archaeological site of Butrint National Park, which is a short distance away, as well as its short distance from Corfu, from which it attracts Greeks and foreign tourists.
Ksamil is one of the most frequented coastal resorts by both domestic and foreign tourists and was included in the Guardian's 20 of the best bargain beach holidays for 2013.
